More Energy Efficient and Cool Homes on the way

Improving home energy efficiency and making homes climate-resilient and comfortable for our renters is a high priority for CEHL. The $12.3 million expansion of the Solar Victoria Home Heating and Cooling Upgrades Program, announced in February, will see over 8,000 community housing properties receive new energy-efficient split system heating and cooling systems.

So far, nine co-op homes are in the process of home heating and cooling upgrades, as CEHL plans for a bulk roll-out from July 2022.
