Cooperation among co-operatives
A new generation of youth co-operatives are connecting-up to strengthen the co-operative movement worldwide and make a difference in their communities through their value driven initiatives.
The International Co-operative Alliance (ICA) established the Youth Network in 2003 and in February this year called for applications to provide funding to support their initiatives.
From 150 applications nine were chosen to receive EUR 10,000 to help them get started and amplify their work ranging from environmental initiatives from sustainable energy production, organic farming, waste management to skill development and job creation.
