Footscray Cooperative Village
United Housing Co-operative has partnered with the Lions Club of Footscray (LCF) to establish the Footscray Lions Co-operative Village.
The development will include 49 one and two bedroom apartments to be built over two and three storeys, housing predominately women over the age of 55 years in need of affordable housing.
Funding was secured through the State Governments Big Housing Build Social Housing Growth Fund.
United Housing Co-operative is member of the Australian Co-operative Housing Alliance (ACHA)
