What brings you to CEHL?
Honestly, in the beginning I wanted to join CEHL for three reasons, firstly; because of my knowledge and experience of the role, secondly; the way CEHL website has been prepared and third, a hybrid model of work. I was extremely impressed with the website as it felt like a duplicate copy of me, everything detailed, simple language, easy to browse, answers to ALL questions I had in my mind, it was just perfect – methodical, process driven and perfect (just like I am when it comes to working). I thought; if that’s the website, pretty sure the company and people would be the same and I would be a great fit, which was absolutely true. But now (I’m at CEHL), I want to work here, not just because of CEHL as an organisation, but for my team, the people I am working with, I love them, and the role I am in, it’s great.
Work background?
My background is in customer service and sales. I have been working in the real estate industry since 2014 and I specialised in selling off-the-plan apartments. I also have a vast experience in hard core sales, where you were supposed to sell a product ranging between $500 -$50,000 to your client within the first couple of hours of meeting them. I then transitioned to community housing (managing crisis accommodation, transitional properties and rooming houses) because I wanted to spend more time with my family, and being in sales didn’t allow for that. I also wanted to give back to the community.
Hobbies + Interests?
My favourite hobby is spending time with my kids, my dog and my husband. Apart from that I love singing Bollywood karaoke, playing badminton and a seeker of truth and God (slowly working towards this by meditating).
