Welcome Laura!

A few new staff members have joined CEHL this year, we'll be introducing them in each edition.

Laura Freeman, is the Manager of Tenancy and Co-op Services.

Tenancy and Co-ops Services is a newly named team that incorporates the formerly named Housing Services Team and Finance Officers who look after financial services for tenants and co-ops.  Many of you may already know that Ruth Pearse, former Manager of Housing Services, retired earlier this year.

The Tenancy and Co-op Services Team are responsible for tenancy and finance services including tenancy management, inspections, rent arrears and the annual rent review.

Laura started with CEHL at the end of June 2020, just in time for the second lockdown.  She has not had the chance to meet her team or other employees face-to-face or even visit the office!

While a challenging experience, Laura has forged on and is building positive relationships and can't wait to meet people the old fashioned way- in person.

Laura has a diverse background in all things to do with accommodation.  She has worked at exclusive member clubs, five-star hotels, student accommodation and has managed housing for the Defense Force.  Her experiences are very unique, and she hopes to apply what she has learnt over her time to the service we provide at CEHL.

Laura is a self described 'home body' and is busy with three teenagers, a dog and a very energetic cat.  When she has the time to relax, she likes to do ballet, read books and watch cheesy Netflix movies.

Laura is really looking forward to meeting her team face-to-face, other CEHL employees and is excited to get out and about meeting co-ops and listening to your stories and experiences.
