The CEHL Co-operative Housing Program provides affordable housing for all Program participants by offering assessed rent.
Each year, CEHL reviews rents to make sure every renter pays the right amount of rent for their household.
We’ve listened to feedback from co-op members and Program participants about difficulties accessing and submitting documents through the portal and by post.
New process
A new process for the Annual Rent Review is coming in 2022 to make it much easier to submit Household Information Forms (HIF) and supporting documents required for the rent review, using DocuSign.
What is DocuSign?
DocuSign is a fast and effective way to complete and sign a document and attach information from any device. It is user friendly, efficient and convenient.
Benefits of DocuSign
- Submit all documents through DocuSign, so no important information is lost in the post
- It's easy to use and will step you through the process
- All information is secure and reaches us in time
Supporting renters with the new process
We will continue to provide assistance to renters who aren't online and more information will be sent to all households in 2022.
You might be surprised to learn, that most people in the Program use their mobile phones and devices to send and receive information.
