Thanks to the 127 co-op members, across all regions, who responded to the recent training survey.  The positive response throughout, and in particular, to question 10, confirmed that co-op members want the Training Advisory Committee (TAC) and CEHL to keep working on training opportunities - for members.

Survey Question 10

Are you interested in participating in other CEHL training opportunities for members?

You told us that your preferred approach was to:

  • Use a variety of modes :
    • On-line as well as face-to-face where possible
    • Provide several different session times
    • Accurate, engaging co-op relevant material
  • Include options of:
    • Networking between co-ops
    • Courses/specific training if costs can be kept minimal
    • CEHL facilitated co-op training
    • Resources available in various ways

broad range of topics were suggested for co-op training in the future.

TAC and CEHL are drafting a training plan for 2022.  It can’t include everything suggested (over 50 different topics) but the feedback has been really helpful in understanding what co-op members are looking for.

A more detailed report on the training survey responses will be put together for the Training Have Your Say page of the CEHL portal.

The TAC member representatives make recommendations to CEHL on behalf of co-op members in their region.  TAC voice provides co-op member perspective to CEHL on what training will be engaging and we appreciate your input.

Any ideas you have about training for co-ops can be emailed to training@cehl.com.au
