New Year of opportunities

It's delightful to be able to meet in person once again, both in co-ops and in the CEHL boardroom.

The CEHL Board is pleased to see much-needed financial support flow to our sector from the State Government, dedicated for maintenance as well as funds for new homes to be built. The Board’s approach to capital investment is guided by co-op Future Direction Plans and we appreciate the ongoing work co-ops put into keeping dialogue open with CEHL employees about co-op future plans and aspirations.

Thanks and gratitude to retiring Board director Stephen Copland

Many thanks to Stephen Copland for his contribution to the CEHL Board and Property Committee over the past five years. Strategic Plan development

Thank you for the work so far from the Co-op Program Committee and contribution from co-ops who provided valuable insights that will be incorporated in the development of the new strategic plan. There has been consultation and input from internal (Senior Leadership Team, Board) and external stakeholders (co-ops and sector representatives) in a thorough collaborative process. For more details read Strategic Plan 2025 – next steps article.

We anticipate the 2025 strategic plan to be finalised and published by June 2021. If you have any questions please contact your Co-op Development Coordinator for further information.

Stay safe, I look forward to seeing you at COVID safe gatherings, as soon as we can.

Yours in co-operation,

Heidi Lee
